Celebrating 50 years as Ashton's premier baker, this family run bakery now owned by Mark and Gillian Bradley can be found at Hurst Cross, Ashton-Under-Lyne. Bradley's is known locally as " The Home of the Best Pork Pie".

We were awarded the accolade of "Best Pork Pie" in July 2003 following a competition run by Justin Moorehouse (of Key 103 and Phoenix Nights fame) when he was a presenter on Magic 1152 . Justin wanted to find the Best Pork Pie and our pork pies beat off competition from pies from Melton Mowbray and Wigan to win the title which has stayed with us ever since. In 2009 we were voted Best Local Trader by our customers during Tameside Council's Food and Drink Awards. See why Bradleys are the best by reading some of our customer comments.

In May 2010 we were awarded silver at The British Pie Awards which were held in Melton Mowbray. This award was for our Pork and Black Pudding pie which was only introduced in January as part of our Pie of the Month promotion, the Pork and Black Pudding pie has become a firm favourite with our customers and was voted one of the most popular during a recent customer survey. Bradley's offer an extensive range of homemade pies each made to their own unique recipe. We also provide a broad range of freshly prepared hot and cold sandwiches which are all made from locally sourced products. When visiting Bradley's we are sure that you will find it hard to leave without being tempted by our great selection of fresh cakes. The shop is open six days a week (Mon- Sat) and with easy on street parking you have plenty of reason to pop in.
